I held off posting new content because I had taken the serious step of submitting a formal complaint to Gwent Police, and since I'm alleging that criminal conduct has occurred, thought it better to see where the complaint went.
Well, it's been over a year, and I have now received both a decision from Gwent Police's Professional Standards Dept. to say there was no need to investigate my complaint and a supporting decision from the Commissioner following a request to review that decision.
I've now asked the IOPC to consider calling the complaint in, and asked for clarification of the preposterous grounds Gwent Police have given for not taking up my complaint in the first place. And I've also asked, if there is no basis for my allegations, then why am I not being charged or even cautioned for wasting police time?
I will publish the full details of the complaint and the final responses on this post when they are received.
